Brief description of quercetin infusion
Quercetin is an antioxidant substance found in many vegetables and fruits.
How does Quercetin Cancer Treatment work?
Quercetin inhibits cancer growth by forcing cancer cells to commit suicide. Every cell has a suicide program activated when it becomes too old or too sick. Cancer cells deactivate this program and can therefore live longer. Quercetin can reactivate the suicide program in cancer cells and trigger cell death.
Quercetin can also block cell development in cancer cells. Every cancer cell goes through certain stages during cell division. Quercetin stops the growth of the cell just before cell division.
Quercetin is also able to inhibit tumour vasculature, thereby blocking the spread of cancer cells.
In addition to its harmful effects on cancer cells, quercetin may protect healthy cells from the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
